Bethanie Mattek-Sands
Bethanie Mattek-Sands teamed with Liezl Huber to win the decisive doubles match in the United States' victory over Italy in the Fed Cup semifinals. Mattek-Sands is still searching for her first WTA singles or doubles titles, but she did win a combined eight ITF titles before moving up to WTA.

Mirka Vavrinec
Mirka Vavrinec is Roger Federer's fiance ... scratch that, Roger Federer's wife. Federer announced on his website that he and Vavrinec were wed on Saturday in Federer's hometown of Basel, Switzerland. Vavrinec, who is also Swiss, was once a Top 100 singles player on the WTA. She is pregnant with the couple's first child.

Kaia Kanepi
Kaia Kanepi is a clay court specialist from Estonia who cracked the WTA Top 20 singles rankings for the first time in March, 2009. While she is still looking for her first WTA singles or doubles titles, Kanepi has six ITF singles titles along with two ITF doubles titles. Her best Grand Slam showing to date is reaching the quarterfinals at the 2008 French Open.

Victoria Azarenka
Victoria Azarenka, a k a "Vika," scored the biggest win of her career to day by beating Serena Williams in the finals of the Sony Ericsson Open. She didn't just beat Serena, she trounced her 6-3, 6-1. In the aftermath of the win, Vika will break into the Top 10 in the WTA singles rankings for the first time.
