Swiss player Patty Schnyder won her fourth-round match at the 2008 U.S. Open, defeating Katarina Srebotnik 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. Schnyder is up to No. 15 in the WTA singles rankings. She has reached one final so far in 2008, and one semifinal.
