Maria Sharapova hadn't won a Grand Slam title since 2008 as she entered the championship match at 2011 Wimbledon. And after that match ended ... she still hasn't. Sharapova, whose career was derailed by a succession of injuries, lost in the finals in straight sets to Petra Kvitova. She's climbing back up the rankings, though, having entered the fortnight at No. 6.
